We are the “younger daughter” of the company Hoteles CBC S.A.C., which belongs to the NGO “Centro Bartolomé de Las Casas” (CBC). We started operating officially in December of 2011, when we celebrated the legal constitution of the Responsible Tourism Agency CBCtupay.

In 2006 we had the idea of linking the CBC’s social projects with responsible tourism activities aiming to make visible the positive impact of our collaboration with the indigenous communities. We also wanted to help tourists and visitors of Cusco and the CBC organization to get to know “authentic Peru” with its very cordial population, the incredible nature of the Southern Peruvian Highlands, and the specialties of the rural area of Cusco.
We specialize in “Rural Community Tourism” (RCT) trips in multiple themes and areas, training indigenous communities in responsible tourism, and benefiting them equitably through their tourism activities.
